Lemon Shrimp

​Tangy, with a touch of sweetness, the sauce is the perfect complement to savory shrimp.

​HANDS-ON TIME: 25 min
TOTAL TIME: 25 min
SERVES: 4

INGREDIENTS:
1 lb. shrimp, peeled and cleaned
1/2 c. flour

1 T. Fierce Korean BBQ seasoning
salt and pepper
3 T. butter or oil


   SAUCE
1/2 lemon juice
​1/4 c. vinegar (rice or white)
zest of 1 lemon
1/4 sugar
2 t. cornstarch
2 T. Fierce Korean BBQ seasoning
(If you're making rice, start it first.)
​SAUCE: Mix all of the sauce ingredients in a small saucepan.  Place over medium-low heat, stirring fairly often as it heats up and thickens. 

SHRIMP: Salt and pepper shrimp.  Mix flour with Fierce Korean BBQ seasoning and toss shrimp in the mixture until well-coated.  Heat butter or oil in skillet until butter starts to bubble or oil is hot.  Add shrimp and cook until no grey or translucent meat remains (about 4-7 min depending on size).  Serve immediately with thickened sauce.
