20-MINUTE BEEF TACOS
You can make these faster than you can pick out shoes and walk to the nearest taco truck.
SERVES: 4 HANDS-ON TIME: 20 min. TOTAL TIME: 20 min. INGREDIENTS: 1 lb ground beef (whatever fat content you prefer) 2 T. Spicy Me TACO AF salt to taste CHOOSE YOUR OWN FLAVOR ADVENTURE Taco shells, Tortillas, corn or flour, Lettuce for wraps Cheese Cilantro, Limes, Jalapenos, Avocados, Olives, Lettuce, Tomato Guacamole, Sour Cream Hot Sauce, Salsa |
1. MEAT: Use your hands to crumble the ground beef into a large skillet. Turn on medium heat. Once you're cleaned up, sprinkle on the TACO AF. Using a wooden spoon (or the equivalent in your home), break the ground beef up as it cooks, stirring to distribute the spice. When the meat is brown and cooked through, there may be too much accumulated liquid in the pan that you can spoon out and discard.
2: EAT: Taste the meat to see if it needs more salt or Spicy Me TACO AF. Spoon the meat into the taco shell, tortilla, or lettuce wraps and garnish with goodies.
+ FEELING FEISTY: If you have fresh garlic and onion at home, feel free to chop or mince either and throw them in with the meat when you add the TACO AF.
+ EVEN FEISTIER: Fresh lime will add the acid note that goes so good with spicy, savory Mexican food.
+ SIDE DISHES: We usually serve refried beans, Spanish rice, calabacitas, salad, Mexican slaw, or spicy black beans with this.
